Father Daughter
Father Daughter
The last time I saw my Father he was not alert, he had difficulty breathing,
starting to withdraw, to pull away. He would grab my hand and hold it very tight.
But Inside I sensed a focus and an intent that he was trying to accomplish something.
I think his death was the final and most glorious achievement of his great life.
To the list of many attributes we can now add courage.
I think I am most thankful to my father for the things he didn’t do.
He was never demanding of me.
He never discouraged me,
He never doubted me.
I love you dad.
